IBPOC Stem Network: Women and Gender-diverse faculty, staff, postdocs, and graduate students

The IBPOC Women/Gender-Diverse Persons STEM Network is a response to these considerations as an affinity space for mentorship and support. Network programming is focused on enhancing wellbeing, cultivating a greater sense of belonging, building greater self-efficacy, supporting retention and initiatives that mobilize justice, equity, decolonization, Indigenization and inclusion within units.

Positive Space Committee

Positive Space Committee is comprised of and open to interested 2SLGBTQIA+ and allied faculty, staff, and students. The committee meets monthly and functions as a social space and advisory body on initiatives that support inclusion of 2SLGBTQIA+ community members.

The Disability Affinity Group provides an opportunity for faculty and staff living with disabilities to regularly meet and build a community of support, learning, and solidarity. In addition to building a supportive and inclusive community, the group enables participants to share knowledge, strategies, and resources that can be applied to their own experiences as disabled staff and faculty.
